I Need To Speak To The Supervisor!

When you are on the phone with a large corporation about anything from a bank fee to an issue with your internet provider's service it would behoove you to consider asking to speak to the supervisor. From personal experience I can attest that there have been many times when I have had conversations with corporate representatives that were less than satisfactory.

I have found that when I ask to speak to the supervisor many times I speak to someone who is more competent and easier to understand. In addition to this many times the supervisor is able to help on a matter that the the first individual did not have the will or the authority to help with. I have been in many situations whereby the first person I spoke to on the phone did nothing for me but the supervisor was able to give me a fee waiver, or competent counsel, or take care of my issue.
